Constables and Non-commissioned officers:
The Southwest African Police used the following ranks and insignia, and after 1985, all members of Koevoet wore these rank insignia, immaterial if the were seconded to SWAPOL or not.
Constables and Non-commissioned officers:
Rank insignia was worn on the arm
Constable – Wore no rank insignia
Sergeant Class I – Wore three stripes with a diamond above the stripes on right arm only
Sergeant Class II – Three stripes below a 11 pointed diamond star on right arm only
Warrant Officer – Wore the coat of arms of South-West Africa with a laurel wreath
